Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

1. What Carve is

Carve is a sports-analytics subscription service. It shows research, model-based estimates, fair-price comparisons and reasoning for betting markets in the sports it supports, and lets you track and review bets you place elsewhere. Today that means MLB and NBA, with other leagues (such as NHL and soccer) offered only in limited previews that may change or be withdrawn. Carve is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers, does not hold funds for wagering, and does not place bets on your behalf.

2. No betting or financial advice

Nothing on Carve is a guarantee of any outcome. Estimates, fair prices, leans and edge figures are statistical descriptions derived from historical and live data, not certainties. Where Carve says it has too little data, a line is stale or unverified, or only last season’s results are available, it says so and does not draw a conclusion. Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain, and you can lose money betting even when Carve’s analysis is sound. You are solely responsible for any wagering decision you make, on Carve or off it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. Sports wagering is regulated at the state and local level in the United States and is illegal or restricted in some jurisdictions. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, contact the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-522-4700) or ncpgambling.org.

4. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. The Cash Out analyzer and screenshots

The Cash Out analyzer can read a screenshot of a bet slip and estimate the value of cashing out. Reading a screenshot is automated and can be wrong, so check every detail it extracts before you rely on it; the results are estimates, not an instruction to cash out or hold. Only upload images you have the right to use, and crop or cover personal information you do not want sent. Uploaded screenshots are processed by our image-reading provider as described in the Privacy Policy; Carve does not store the image.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly or monthly, as selected at checkout) through our payment processor, Stripe. Where a free trial is offered, the plan renews at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Carve: no scraping or automated bulk extraction of our data outside normal product use, no attempting to circumvent subscription limits or access controls, no reverse-engineering the service, no probing the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission, and no using Carve to violate any law applicable to you.

8. Third-party data and links

Carve displays odds, lines, schedules, statistics and other data sourced from third-party sportsbooks and data providers, and links out to sportsbooks so you can place bets there. That data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a sportsbook’s own price at the time you bet is the one that counts. We don’t control those third parties, and we’re not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Carve available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, leagues and markets, including preview features, at any time.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Carve is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carve and its operators are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the service, including losses from bets placed or cash-out decisions made based on information shown in Carve.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll post the updated terms here with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use Carve after a change means you accept the update.
